O JOGO

[REGRAS] (Dois ou mais jogadores)
1 Pressione a tecla “RESET” no teclado alfanumérico. As palavras “SELECT GAME” aparecerão na tela.
2 Pressione a tecla 4 no teclado alfanumérico. A linha de codificação (em cima) e a linha de decifrar (em baixo) aparecerão automaticamente na tela.
3 Datilografe qualquer palavra ou mensagem até o máximo de 14 letras na linha de codificação.
4 Pressione a tecla ENTER. A mensagem será automaticamente codificada (será modificada a ordem das letras) pela máquina. A seqüência de letras será diferente cada vez que for pressionada a tecla. Nota: Se a mensagem contiver mais de 14 letras, a 15ª e as seguintes aparecerão na linha de baixo e a tecla “ENTER” não terá efeito. Nessa modalidade a tela do seu televisor funcionará como um quadro-negro eletrônico.
5 O oponente deverá decifrar a palavra original, tentando uma letra por vez na linha inferior. A letra correta permanece na tela e a letra incorreta aparece momentaneamente e logo em seguida desaparece.
6 Quando a mensagem for completamente decifrada, a máquina automaticamente mostra na tela o número de erros cometidos.
7 Caso o criptograma não possa ser solucionado, pressione a tecla “ENTER” a fim de mostrar automaticamente a solução correta.
8 Pressione a tecla “CLEAR” para começar um novo jogo. Nota: A tela não será apagada até mostrar a solução correta, seja do jogador ou da máquina.

[RULES] (Two or more players)
1 Press the “RESET” key on the alphanumeric keyboard. The words “SELECT GAME” will appear on the screen.
2 Press the 4 key on the alphanumeric keypad. The encoding line (top) and deciphering line (bottom) will automatically appear on the screen.
3 Type any word or message up to a maximum of 14 letters in the coding line.
4 Press the ENTER key. The message will be automatically encoded (letter order will be modified) by the machine. The sequence of letters will be different each time the key is pressed. Note: If the message contains more than 14 letters, the 15th and following will appear on the bottom row and the “ENTER” key will have no effect. In this mode, your television screen will work as an electronic blackboard.
5 The opponent must decipher the original word, trying one letter at a time on the bottom line. The correct letter remains on the screen and the incorrect letter appears momentarily and then disappears.
6 When the message is completely deciphered, the machine automatically shows the number of errors made on the screen.
7 If the cryptogram cannot be solved, press the “ENTER” key to automatically show the correct solution.
8 Press “CLEAR” KEY to start a new game. Note: The screen will not clear until it shows the correct solution, either player or machine.
